Jordan Addison knows he doesn't have much control where he ends up going in the 2023 NFL Draft, but that's not stopping him from hoping it's a seamless transition to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The USC wide receiver is eager to reunite with his former college teammate and quarterback Kenny Pickett.

"Hey, man, if we reunite, that'd be good," Addison told reporters at the NFL Scouting Combine on Friday. "That'd be real cool. Real easy transition. Come get me."

When did Jordan Addison and Kenny Pickett play together at Pitt?

Addison and Pickett were teammates at Pitt for two years.

In 2021, Addison had 1,593 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns for the Panthers in one of the most decorated sophomore seasons in program history.

Not only did he win the Biletnikoff Award as the nation's top wide receiver, he also earned a consensus All-America selection. He was named first-team All-America by four of the five NCAA-recognized selectors.

The same year, Pickett was a Heisman trophy finalist. He went No. 20 overall to the Steelers in the following year's draft.

Addison transferred to USC for his junior year. He racked up 59 receptions for 875 yards and eight touchdowns for the Trojans last season.

Pickett had a breakout rookie year in the NFL, throwing for 2,404 yards, seven touchdowns and nine interceptions in 13 games (12 starts).

Friday wasn't the first time that the idea of Addison joining Pickett was discussed.

Pickett brought it up during an appearance on Steelers defensive end Cam Heyward's "Not Just Football" podcast in January, according to ESPN.

"We talked about playing in the NFL together while we were at Pitt," Pickett said. "That's like the college teammates' dream, especially for a quarterback and receiver, that kind of dynamic, especially given how well we played together."
