World Cup co-hosts Australia have reached the semifinals for the first time ever, and will now look to continue a historic tournament by making the final in front of their own fans.

But they will not have it easy against Euro 2022 champions England, who remain undefeated at the tournament – having only conceded two goals in five games.

Both teams have had injury issues before and during the tournament, which have affected their coach's selection options, and there are still lots of team debates ahead of the semifinal, with England also looking to reach the final for the first time ever.

Below are the projected starting lineups for both teams ahead of their match at Stadium Australia on August 16.

Caitlin Foord and penalty shootout hero Mackenzie Arnold avoided yellow cards in the quarterfinal, meaning they are free of suspension concerns.
