Cristiano Ronaldo is not done yet at international level — not by a long shot — as he and his Portugal teammates gear up for another set of European Championship qualifiers.
Portugal are virtually guaranteed a spot at Euro 2024 in Germany already, after winning six from six in Group J ahead of upcoming games against Slovakia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
They routed Luxembourg 9-0 in their most recent qualifier, a game Ronaldo played no part in, as he was suspended.

Is Cristiano Ronaldo playing for Portugal vs Slovakia?
Yes. Roberto Martinez called up Ronaldo in a star-studded squad for this international break, with the intention of putting the rubber stamp on qualification.
After missing out due to suspension last time, Ronaldo lined up against Slovakia wearing his country's captain's armband and duly scored his 124th goal in a Portuguese shirt to make it 2-0 with a 29th-minute penalty. He's fit and firing, returning to form with Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr of late, with 10 league goals already in 2023/24.
Slovakia will have a tough job stopping him, especially with the likes of Bruno Fernandes, Rafael Leao and Bernardo Silva likely to start behind the centre-forward in Porto.
