India, who are one of the favorites to win the T20 Cricket World Cup 2024 title, have already booked their berth in the Super 8 stage after winning three group games in a row — against Ireland, Pakistan and the USA.
The highlight of the group stage was when India defeated their arch-rivals Pakistan in a low-scoring thriller. After being restricted to 119 runs by Pakistan, the Indian bowlers did an exceptional job limiting Pakistan to 113 runs in their 20 overs.
Rohit Sharma and Co. have been paired in Group A in the Super 8 stage, alongside 2021 champions Australia, Afghanistan from Group C, and the runners-up in Group D, Bangladesh.
