The 2024 Little League World Series draws to a close Sunday afternoon, with Florida and Chinese Taipei vying for the tournament title.

The team from Lake Mary, Fla., defeated Boerne, Texas, 10-7, in an entertaining U.S. championship game on Saturday afternoon. Lake Mary scored four runs in the fifth inning and five runs in the sixth inning, rallying from two separate deficits to punch its ticket to the LLWS title game.

In the international bracket, Chinese Taipei bested Venezuela, 4-1, behind a stellar pitching performance from starter Lai Cheng-Xi, who struck out 12 batters in 5 1/3 innings. Kuei-Shan Little League, representing Taoyuan, Taiwan, avenged last year's defeat in the International Championship.
