There aren't many holes in Shohei Ohtani's game at the plate, and while he went an entire series against the Phillies without an extra-base hit, he's back to form in the Dodgers' series vs. the Tigers.

After knocking home the game-winning run Friday night with a ground-rule double, Ohtani led off Saturday's game with a triple into the right-field corner. He eventually came home to score on an RBI groundout by Freddie Freeman.

The triple was Ohtani's fourth of the season, tying him with Marlins centerfielder Jazz Chisholm, Phillies shortstop Edmundo Sosa and Giants outfielder Mike Yastrzemski. That group is all tied for fourth in the NL in triples. Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll and Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz are tied for the NL lead with six.

Ohtani also scored his NL-best 73rd run of the year, which is 10 more than second place.
