There's a lot to be excited about with the Baltimore Orioles.

Baltimore currently is in first place in the American League with an impressive 64-44 record and seemingly keeps getting better. The Orioles had a fantastic trade deadline that saw the club adding two much-needed starting pitchers.

The Orioles made a handful of trades but another move the club made that has the baseball world talking is the call-up of top prospect Jackson Holliday. He not only is Baltimore's top prospect but also the top prospect in all of baseball.

He had a rough start to his big league career earlier this year but is back in Baltimore and returned with a bang while launching his first career home run on Wednesday afternoon in grand style.

You can check out a video of the home run right here from Major League Baseball.

Holliday stepped up to the plate with the Orioles up by one run over the Toronto Blue Jays in the bottom of the fifth inning and crushed a grand slam to right field for his first career home run of what likely will be many.

The Orioles likely will make some noise down the stretch this season and could even make a deep playoff run. Holliday will play a major role down the stretch and for the foreseeable future. He is expected to be a major player for years to come and the future is now.
