Muhammad Mokaev picked up a decision victory over Manel Kape at UFC 304 on Saturday, advancing to 7-0 in the promotion.
However, his time in the UFC has come to an end.
The 23-year-old Mokaev will not be re-signed by the promotion after his lackluster performance and multiple incidents outside of the cage.

"The matchmakers aren’t big fans of his for many different reasons. There’s a lot of people who shoot takedowns in this business, a lot of guys that fight with that type of style. But it’s a lot more than just that," White said.
“He’s not under contract anymore. I think the PFL’s going to get a great undefeated guy. Good luck to him.”
Mokaev and Kape were involved in multiple altercations outside the cage leading up to their UFC 304 bout, which was very underwhelming.
The incidents included a fight at the fighter hotel in Manchester. That incident occurred when Mokaev asked Kape for a photo before sucker-punching him and sparking a brawl.
They previously brawled at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas.
“There was so much bad shit that happened behind the scenes with that thing. Not good,” White said.
“Listen, the stuff that played out here over the last several months that started at the [UFC Performance Institute] and other stories of this breaking out, plus many other things. These guys don’t want to re-sign him.”
