MotoGP returns once again as the clock ticks down to lights out in the 11th race of the 2024 World Championship season, kicking off the second half of the campaign. The well-known Red Bull Ring will play host to this year's Austrian Grand Prix, with the Championship race looking set to go down to the wire.

It's still neck-and-neck at the top between defending two-time world champion Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin after 10 races in 2024, with the latter's lead at the summit being just three points after the British Grand Prix last time out. Neither rider finished atop the podium at Silverstone though, with Bagnaia's Italian and Ducati compatriot Enea Bastianini winning his first race of the season.

Martin's second place finish took him back above Bagnaia on 241 points with 10 meetings still to go this season, and the Spaniard will certainly be hoping to extend that slender advantage at the Red Bull Ring later today. Bagnaia has already won six races so far in 2024, yet still finds himself narrowly behind Martin in the championship fight.

Ahead of the 11th race of the MotoGP season, The Sporting News has you covered with all the timings, TV and streaming details to follow if you want to keep up with all the action from the Red Bull Ring, as we get ready for the 2024 Austrian Grand Prix.

When is the next MotoGP race after the Austrian Grand Prix?

The long summer of European-based races continues with today's meeting in Austria, and still has a few more to go before looking eastwards for the deciding meetings of the 2024 season. Spain, San Marino and Italy are next up on the calendar, beginning with the Gran Premio de Aragon in two weeks' time.

Aragon is the third of four meetings to take place on Spanish soil this season, after the Spanish and Catalonian Grands Prix respectively in the opening weeks of the 2024 campaign. Taking place at MotorLand Aragon in Alcaniz, Lower Aragon, this meeting has been held every year since its debut on the MotoGP circuit in 2010.

The Aragon Grand Prix will take place on Sunday, September 1, 2024, kicking off an action-packed last three months of the season leading up to the fourth and last Spain-based meeting of the year in Valencia. Until then, Aragon is the third-last European race of the summer, with the San Marino and Emilia Romagna Grands Prix set to follow.
