The NASCAR regular season will resume after the 2024 Paris Olympics conclude Sunday earlier in the day on NBC. The home stretch ahead of the postseason push begins at Richmond with a close race at the top of the regular-season standings.

Kyle Larson holds a 10-point edge over Chase Elliott, as the two have traded places over the past several weeks. The top 16 is all but locked up with just a few weeks to go, as nine points separate Kyle Busch and Chase Briscoe for the final playoff spot.

Richmond is the next leg of a long season, as the fall postseason is just weeks away. Every possible point means more moving forward.
