The Chicago Bulls certainly will look a lot different when the 2024-25 season kicks off.
Chicago already has had a rollercoaster of an offseason as they lost DeMar DeRozan and traded Alex Caruso to the Oklahoma City Thunder for former first-round pick Josh Giddey.
The Bulls also have been in plenty of rumors lately as both Zach LaVine and Nikola Vučević have been mentioned as trade candidates. While at one point it seemed like both were guaranteed to be moved, that doesn't seem to be the case any longer.
At this point, there reportedly is "no market" for Vučević, according to Chicago Sun-Times' Joe Cowley.
"As long as shooting guard Zach LaVine and, for that matter, center Nikola Vučević is on the roster, it’s like (Arturas Karnisovas) got up from his desk halfway through the test to take a break and hit the vending machine," Cowley said. "What Karnisovas and the rest of the Bulls’ front office have on their side is time. Not a lot but enough.
"The growing concerns, however, are that possible destinations for LaVine seemingly have dried up and that there is still no market for Vučević at age 33 and $41 million-plus guaranteed over the next two seasons."
Vučević was solid last season for the Bulls averaging 18 points per game and 10.5 rebounds per game in 76 games played.
There have been rumblings that the Bulls may want to deal him, but it doesn't sound like anything is close.
