Australia's latest NBA revelation has finally secured a long-term deal, after playing half a season on a two-way contract.

Duop Reath, the Portland Trail Blazers' 27-year-old rookie, has signed a three-year deal with the team, following an incredibly impressive debut year for the team.

Reath has had an astronomical rise with the Blazers; after starting the season as a two-way player, the Australian became one of Portland's most reliable rotation players, averaging 17.4 minutes per game and starting 11 games for the team.

He has now been rewarded for his efforts, signing a long-term deal with the team.

But he has since impressed, becoming one of his team's key front-court players, and has now signed a long-term deal.
