Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan was named to the Associated Press Preseason All-American First Team on Aug. 19, leading the way for a group of four players from the Big 12 Conference named AP Preseason All-Americans.

McMillan, 6-foot-5 and 210 pounds, was an All-Pac-12 Conference pick in 2023 with 90 receptions for 1,402 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. McMillan is widely projected as a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft and his name showed up on PFF’s list of 32 offensive players every NFL team should keep an eye on.

Arizona is playing its first year in the Big 12 in 2024.

The three other players named to the AP Preseason All-American Team were Oklahoma State running back Ollie Gordon II (first team), Colorado cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter (first team all-purpose) and Oklahoma State linebacker Nick Martin (second team).

Arizona opens the season on Aug. 31 at home against New Mexico.
