After a three-season playoff drought, the Clemson Tigers football team is hoping to return to its dynastic glory in the ACC.
Clemson at its peak enjoyed six straight College Football Playoff berths and two national championships. While they finished with a 9-4 record last season, good for sixth in the ACC and considered a strong season for most programs, the Tigers are chasing titles and will look to improve this season and get into the expanded postseason field.
Under coach Dabo Swinney, the Tigers capped off last season with a five-game win streak and look to build upon that momentum. They will begin their season with a big matchup against Georgia at Mercedes Benz Stadium. Another key game will be against ACC foe Florida State in October.
Quarterback Cade Klubnick will be an important piece of the puzzle after posting a 19:9 touchdown-to-interception ratio in 2023. Clemson will also hope for more consistency from its wide receiver corp.
On defense, multiple veteran players left for the NFL so the young group will have to step up. Barrett Carter is retuning for his senior season as one of the nation's best linebackers.

Don Munson serves as a play-by-play broadcaster for Clemson football. Munson has covered Clemson athletics since 1994. He has moved his way up through the ranks and has been the Director of Broadcasting for the University since 2014.
Coach Swinney will also appear on the "Tiger Calls" radio show on Monday nights during the season.
