Love him or hate him, Lane Kiffin always has something to say. Especially on Twitter. (Yes, it’s my personal Elon Musk protest that I refuse to call it X.)

The Ole Miss Rebels head coach bizarrely trolled the Tennessee Volunteers after their Game 1 loss to the Texas A&M Aggies, 9-5, in the 2024 Men’s College World Series Championship Finals. We called him out for it.

Well, well, well, the Vols had the last laugh by winning the whole dang thing in the winner-take-all Game 3, barely hanging on at the end 6-5.

Even in the middle of the game, with Tennessee winning, the portal and twitter-troll king Kiffin (and former single-season Vols head coach) was possibly trying to jinx the Vols by hitting up “Rocky Top” fan and country music star Morgan Wallen (sitting alongside legendary alum Peyton Manning and Tennessee men’s basketball head coach Rick Barnes).

We’re not sure what the 49-year-old HC’s end game is, but Kiffin is a constant source of entertainment. Over the past weekend, alongside his freezing cold Vols baseball tweet, he also got into a Twitter feud with former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown (eventually blocking him) and gave an “Uber” ride to visiting 2025 four-star safety recruit Ladarian Clardy.

Kudos to the Tennessee baseball for a hard-fought comeback to claim the national championship in the College World Series, avoiding any outside noise like Hunter Ensley’s ridiculous ninja slide. (We’ll be on the lookout for a congratulatory Kiffin tweet.)

On or off the field, the SEC is always entertaining, no matter the sport!
