The San Francisco 49ers have been one of the most talked about franchises in football lately.

San Francisco has been in the news lately as the future of star receiver Brandon Aiyuk has been in question. While it's unclear how much time left he has with the 49ers, they still should be one of the top teams in football in 2024.

The 49ers are built to win now and still have room to add even more this offseason. San Francisco even was called the top landing spot for tackle Connor Williams by NFL Trade Rumors' Logan Ulrich.

"The 49ers seem to make the most sense for both sides," Ulrich said. "Williams has excelled the last two years in (Head Coach) Mike McDaniels' offense, which has deep roots in what HC Kyle Shanahan runs with the 49ers. There would be some scheme familiarity and Williams would be set up better to succeed than in some other offenses.

"In terms of raising his profile for a big deal, becoming a productive starter for a Super Bowl contender like San Francisco would go a long way."

San Francisco has been in the news for the wrong reasons lately but there still are plenty of reasons for hope with the team. The 49ers are one of the top contenders to take home the Super Bowl in 2024 and landing someone like Williams only would help put them over the top.
