All of the Detroit Lions' focus in terms of upgrading the roster should be at the wide receiver position, as the team has no shortage of question marks there. But one NFL analyst believes Detroit should be looking to add to a different position.

According to Bleacher Report's Matt Holder, the Lions should sign veteran defensive back Jalen Mills in free agency. Here's what he had to say:

"The Lions' need for a cornerback was well-documented this offseason and while the front office made several additions, it couldn't hurt to throw one more player into the mix especially while Emmanuel Moseley is on injured reserve," Holder wrote.

"Mills would be a good target since he has the versatility to cover the boundary or the slot and can play safety if needed. That's a solid option to turn to off the bench, and his 73.5 passer rating when targeted last year, per Pro Football Focus, would be a welcomed sight."

Mills would definitely be a solid depth option for Detroit. On top of having strong coverage numbers throughout his career, Mills also offers versatility thanks to his experience playing outside, in the slot, and at safety.

It certainly wouldn't hurt for the Lions to add more talent to the secondary after the injury to Emmanuel Moseley, and with the uncertain status of safety Ifeatu Melifonwu.

The team's No. 1 cornerback, Carlton Davis, has injury concerns and the Lions are depending on two rookies in Terrion Arnold, who will start opposite Davis, and Rakestraw, who stands to be the top backup. In the slot, the Lions have Amik Robertson, who offers a strong option there.

Mills would be a good insurance policy to have, no doubt, but signing a defensive back isn't anywhere near as dire as grabbing a wide receiver, or even edge depth.

However, armed with $31 million in cap space, per Over the Cap, general manager Brad Holmes has the funds to add to all three position groups ahead of a season in which Detroit should be going all in.
