Fans of the Miami Dolphins have known the name Zach Sieler for years. He’s been a big-time, if under-appreciated, contributor to the team since he arrived in Miami after spending one season with the Baltimore Ravens on their practice squad. While not utilized in Baltimore, Sieler has been a key contributor on the inside of the Dolphins defensive line alongside Christian Wilkins. Now, with Wilkins gone, Sieler will be the primary focus of the Dolphins front line defense.

While fans of the team have known and appreciated Sieler for years, he’s a name that’s not well-known outside of South Florida, but that could be changing soon. At the very least, one media member has taken notice of Sieler and his contributions to the Dolphins’ defense. Bleacher Report NFL analyst David Kenyon has released his All-Underrated team for the 2024 season, and Sieler is one of his two picks for defensive tackle.

Sieler has been largely overshadowed in Miami by his All-Pro counterpart, Wilkins, but has been able to put up some nice production for the team in his own right. Last year was his best season to date, putting up his first double-digit sack season of his career, and adding 11 tackles for loss, 22 quarterback hits, and even grabbing his first career interception.

Now, in 2024, Sieler will get his chance to be in the spotlight, with Wilkins leaving the Dolphins in free agency for the Las Vegas Raiders. Sieler will no longer be the beneficiary of having Wilkins beside him to command double-teams and take the pressure off him, but adding former Atlanta Falcons defensive tackle Calais Campbell to the fold should have a similar effect.

Kenyon looks for Sieler to have a big year in 2024 and finally put his name on the map for a national audience.
