There should be a flurry of moves across the National Football League in the near future.

Training camp will be here before you know it and there still are some top-tier free agents somehow still available. Free agency has completely stalled out but that should change soon with players hoping to land new gigs before training camp.

One player who still is out there is former Green Bay Packers star David Bakhtiari. He developed into one of the best tackles in football but injuries have derailed his career over the last few years. He seems to be trending in the right direction health-wise and should find a new opportunity soon.

There surely will be plenty of interest in him on the open market and one team that was mentioned as a fit is the Dallas Cowboys by Sportsnaut's Matt Johnson.

"It’s understandable why NFL teams have waited to sign David Bakhtiari," Johnson said. "Turning 33 years old in August, Bakhtiari played just 13 games from 2021-23. He also underwent knee surgery in October. While he might no longer be an All-Pro in pass protection, Bakhtiari only allowed 19 pressures in 835 pass-blocking snaps over the last four seasons. He’s worth a gamble because the upside is an above-average left tackle. David Bakhtiari landing spots: Kansas City Chiefs, Washington Commanders, Dallas Cowboys."

Bakhtiari could be a great option at a discount this summer due to his recent injuries. He was great throughout his career with the Packers but it sounds like he will be playing elsewhere when the 2024 campaign kicks off and the Cowboys could make sense.
