It's no secret that the Pittsburgh Steelers are in the market for a wide receiver as they continue to be involved in the Brandon Aiyuk trade/extension saga with the San Francisco 49ers.

Meanwhile, in Cincinnati, the Bengals have their own wide receiver saga unfolding with superstar wideout Ja'Marr Chase, who is currently in the midst of a hold-in as he seeks a contract extension from the team.

While it's highly unlikely the Bengals would even consider trading Chase, that didn't stop Bleacher Report's Alex Kay from suggesting four trade scenarios involving the former No. 5 overall pick.

One of those scenarios involves the Steelers sending the Bengals three 2025 draft picks, including one in the first round, one in the third and one in the fourth.

"If the Steelers are serious about augmenting Russell Wilson, George Pickens and Pat Freiermuth with a top-flight wideout, they shouldn't hesitate to offer a package to Cincinnati headlined by a first-round pick along with some mid-round selections," Kay wrote of his proposed deal for Chase.

Considering how good Chase is and how much Pittsburgh needs help at wide receiver, Steelers fans would no doubt be on board with such a deal. However, there's simply no chance this deal will ever happen.

As we already mentioned, it remains to be seen if the Bengals would even think about trading Chase. But even if the team is open to it, Cincinnati would never trade him within the AFC North.

The last thing the Bengals would want is to have Chase burning them twice a year for the next decade, which would only make the trade look worse and enrage the fanbase even more.

Granted, the Bengals don't exactly have a history of good decisions as a franchise, but even they wouldn't be so dumb as to trade their best player to a division rival.
