Quarterback Russell Wilson made his preseason debut with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday night against the Buffalo Bills and things did not go well.

Wilson was originally supposed to get no more than four drives in the game, but he ended up getting five after the first four were ugly, to say the least. Unfortunately for Wilson and Co., the fifth wasn't any better than the previous four.

Wilson completed 8-of-10 passes for 47 yards and was sacked three times. Not all of those sacks were on the offensive line, though, as Wilson held on to the ball too long for one of them and failed to step up in the pocket for another.

Here's how all five of his drives went:

Drive 1: 3 plays, -11 yards (punt)

Drive 2: 3 plays, 8 yards (punt)

Drive 3: 5 plays, 7 yards (punt)

Drive 4: 3 plays, 8 yards (punt)

Drive 5: 7 plays, 22 yards (missed FG)

Wilson connected with Van Jefferson three times for 19 yards, Jaylen Warren two times for 14 yards, Pat Freiermuth one time for 10 yards and George Pickens one time for four yards. His longest pass went for 12 yards. Wilson nearly hit Pickens for a big play down the sideline but it was ruled incomplete.

After what was a disastrous showing for the Steelers' offense in preseason Week 2, some fans are already throwing in the towel on Wilson.
