Late last month it was reported that Tennessee Titans edge rusher Arden Key was facing a six-game suspension for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs.

However, it appears he will not face a suspension after all. Titans defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons took to social media on Saturday afternoon to reveal that Key has won his appeal and won't be suspended.

Big Jeff's report has since been confirmed by ESPN's Turron Davenport. This is surprising to say the least, as rarely do we see suspensions get overturned on appeal. What was behind Key winning his appeal hasn't been revealed as of this writing.

This is obviously gigantic news for the Titans, who were already thin in the edge rusher department. Outside of Harold Landry and Key, the Titans have a ton of question marks.

Key inked a three-year, $21 million deal with the Titans last offseason. He tallied six sacks and 30 tackles (four for loss) during his first campaign in the two-tone blue while also adding some personality and energy to the locker room.

Competing for the spots and backup roles behind Landry and Key are rookie Jaylen Harrell, Rashad Weaver, Thomas Rush, Caleb Murphy and undrafted free agent Khalid Duke.

The Titans will be looking for any of those players to step up when they take on the Seattle Seahawks in preseason Week 2 on Saturday night.
