Where O where art Odyssey Jones? Having made his presence felt in devastatingly good fashion in the month of August as an affiliate of The New Day, though to the chagrin of Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston’s new friend spun the block and received another insane pop when he joined the faction on a couple more occasions on WWE RAW.

He’s been missing in action ever since, and while that’s not entirely unusual (though it is for someone who has had the instant social media impact as Jones), what will raise the eyebrows is the fact he’s been reportedly removed from the WWE roster.

Huh?

Well, for anyone thinking Woods is pulling rank to keep Jones away from any supposed attempt to replace Big E, think again.

“Ain't got nothing to do with me!” said Woods on social media.

Of course, Woods making that clear could actually muddy the waters a bit, seeing as guilt usually speaks louder than innocence when one’s conscience begins to weigh in. And there has been the relentless teasing by WWE that Woods could turn heel at any moment and, for the first time, detonate The New Day.

Then again, Jones’ absence and removal from the roster could have nothing to do with kayfabe at all, and if that’s the case, all we can do is hope for the best.
