It could be real, or it could be masterful kayfabe by WWE and Jacob Fatu but, either way, the Universe won’t likely see him on their glowing screens for the next several weeks. The most feral member of Solo Sikoa’s version of the Bloodline was noticeably absent during last week’s episode of SmackDown as Roman Reigns single handedly wrecked shop.

And it was for good reason, seeing as Fatu injured (you can decide to use air quotes here if you’d like) his lower leg after flying off of the top turnbuckle onto Cody Rhodes, who lay on the announcer’s table during his Summerslam match against Sikoa.

Fatu couldn’t stand under his own power afterward, and was later seen in a walking boot outside of the arena. He is unlikely to return until the end of August, per PWInsider, via SEScoops, a not-so-coincidental timing that perfectly matches up with the next premium live event:

The “Bash in Berlin” on Aug. 31.

This efficiently allows for Reigns to continue terrorizing Sikoa and the Tongans before having to come face to face with the Samoan Werewolf, building that encounter up for the BIB in a few weeks from now.

Whenever they do clash, it’ll be a sight to behold.
