Katie Ledecky continues her quest to become the most decorated Olympic female swimmer on Wednesday in Paris.

Ledecky, who captured bronze in the women's 400m freestyle earlier in the 2024 Games, also has seven gold medals and three silver medals. She needs two more medals to become the all-time leader.

The men's and women's 100m freestyle events take place on Wednesday, along with the women's 1500m freestyle, where Ledecky is the prohibitive favorite to win gold.

Let's take a look at Wednesday's 2024 Olympic swimming odds & predictions.

Odds on Wednesday's Olympic swimming medal events at DraftKings & Bet365: Betting market gives Ledecky 97% chance for women's 1500m freestyle gold

Check out odds from DraftKings and Bet365 for the men's and women's 100m freestyle events, plus the women's 1500m freestyle.

Men's 100m freestyle

DraftKings is dealing these odds on the men's 100m freestyle:

  • Pan Zhanle (CHN) -135
  • David Popovici (ROM) +200
  • Kyle Chalmers (AUS) +400
  • Jack Alexy (USA) +800
  • Chris Guiliano (USA) +1400

Zhanle owns the world record with a time of 46.8 seconds, but Popovici and Chalmers are also capable of taking home gold here. Popovoci has eclipsed 47 seconds, and Chalmers checks in with a personal best of 47.1. Chalmers is the lone medalist from 2020 to swim in this event. Team USA's Caeleb Dressel won gold at the 2020 Tokyo Games, but he is not competing in the 100m freestyle this time around.

Women's 100m freestyle

Bet365 is dealing these odds for the women's 100m freestyle:

  • Mollie O'Callaghan (AUS) -125
  • Siobhan Haughey (HKG) +225
  • Sarah Sjostrom (SWE) +500
  • Marrit Steenbergen (NED) +700
  • Shayna Jack (AUS) +850

At the 2024 World Championships, Steenbergen turned in a personal best at 52.26 seconds to edge Haughey (52.56) for gold. That makes her an intriguing longshot selection at +700. Sjostrom holds the world record, set back in 2017, at 51.71 seconds.

Women's 1500m freestyle

Ledecky is a massive favorite at DraftKings to win this event. In fact, odds of -3500 imply a 97.2% chance of occurrence.

  • Katie Ledecky (USA) -3500
  • Simona Quadarella (ITA) +1300
  • Lani Pallister (AUS) +2000
  • Bingjie Li (CHN) +2000
  • Isabel Gose (GER) +2500

This event was introduced at the 2020 Tokyo Games and Ledecky took home the gold medal. She's also the reigning gold medalist in the 800m freestyle. Ledecky is the queen of women's long-distance races. Everybody else will likely be racing for silver here.
