NFL fans and bettors are finally in for a great Thursday night matchup when the Cincinnati Bengals visit the Baltimore Ravens for an AFC North battle. Despite both teams’ reputation for solid defense, this one could end up being a high-scoring affair with so many injuries on the defensive side of the ball. That means bettors will be seriously considering the TD scorer prop market.

The new-look Ravens offense has been explosive this season, and Joe Burrow is finally back to full health. Let’s examine the Bengals vs. Ravens TD scorer prop odds and markets, along with a few betting picks, ahead of Thursday Night Football.

Monday Night Football anytime touchdown scorer odds & props

Baltimore is a 3.5-point home favorite at most sportsbooks. Here are the latest live odds from the best U.S. sportsbooks

With Gus Edwards (), Joe Mixon () and Ja’Marr Chase () offering such short odds, let’s look to the second tier of Ravens and Bengals offensive weapons to find some value on Thursday Night Football anytime TD scorer odds.

Mark Andrews anytime TD scorer odds

The Bengals defense is fourth-worst in the NFL against tight ends, having given up an average of six catches, 67 yards and 0.44 TDs per game to the position. Andrews’ TD scorer odds () aren’t a longshot by any means, but he is Lamar Jackson’s favorite weapon through the air, and he is set up brilliantly to score a Thursday night touchdown.

Andrews scored a touchdown the first time these teams met back in September, although his five catches for 45 yards was hardly his best performance. Last year, Andrews scored one TD against the Bengals in two games, and fellow tight end Isaiah Likely exploded for over 100 yards against Cincinnati during a game Andrews missed due to injury.

Keaton Mitchell odds to score TD

John Harbaugh’s explanation for why Keaton Mitchell () only carried the ball two more times after a lightning-quick 39-yard jaunt to the end zone early in last week’s loss didn’t make sense to many people, but it apparently was not injury-related. Mitchell has big-play ability that Baltimore’s other RBs seem to lack, and making a prop bet for him to bust another play for a TD is worth consideration.

Among his 15 career touches, Mitchell has broken off gains of 32, 39, 40 and 60 yards, including two touchdowns. Facing a Bengals defense that was just gashed by the Texans on the ground, it will not be surprising at all to see Mitchell flying down the field toward the end zone at some point on Thursday night.

Tyler Boyd anytime TD odds

It’s easy to imagine Tyler Boyd () corralling a Joe Burrow pass down the seam in the red zone, because the veteran slot man dropped a potential game-winner just a few days ago. With Tee Higgins likely out another week with a leg injury, Boyd will fill a big role in a Cincinnati offense that could find itself trailing for much of the evening — just like last week.

Boyd racked up 12 targets in Week 10, hauling in eight for 117 yards. He’s in line for another busy day in Baltimore.

Trenton Irwin odds to score TD on TNF

Trenton Irwin () started Cincinnati’s scoring last week with a 32-yard TD reception on a dot from Joe Burrow. He’s worth taking a flier on to find paydirt again. Tee Higgins has been officially ruled out for Thursday Night Football, meaning there will be plenty of Burrow targets to go around.

Irwin has the longest odds of this group to score a touchdown on Thursday night, but he has played a big part of the Cincinnati offense over the last year-plus anytime Higgins or Chase has missed a game.

Longshot TD scorer prop for TNF

Nelson Agholor () has not been a big part of the Ravens offense over the last month, with just two catches on four targets. One of those receptions, however, did go for a touchdown.

Agholor’s only other TD this season came in Week 2 against this Bengals team. Agholor’s TD scorer prop is a longshot for a reason — the veteran is not one of the Ravens best playmakers. But he was on the field for 53% of the team’s passing snaps last week, and, as stated, the Bengals defense is simply ravaged by injury.

If rookie QB C.J. Stroud can rack up 350-plus yards through the air against this unit, we could see any number of Ravens breaking free on deep balls for touchdowns.

Bengals vs. Ravens TNF betting angles

AFC North matchups on Thursdays tend to be even more physical than the usual Sunday matchups within the division, and this week’s tilt will live up to such billing on the heels of the Ravens and Bengals both suffering close and agonizing defeats at home in Week 10 vs. the Texans and Browns.

Cincinnati’s consistent defensive success in 2021, 2022 and sporadic parts of this season seems to be waning. During their month-long winning streak in Weeks 5-9, they were able to stop third-and-short-yardage plays with regularity. Unfortunately, against the Texans they hardly faced those manageable downs on defense due to Devin Singletary averaging a gaudy 5.0 YPC during his 30-carry, 150-yard display. That could be a real problem against the Ravens’ dangerous run game.

Without a pass-catching running back in the offensive scheme (since J.K. Dobbins’ unfortunate season-ending injury), Baltimore’s offense has been limited in its ability to attack at all three levels since neither Gus Edwards or Justice Hill instill fear in defenses in that capacity. With Mitchell on the field, he stands to help in that regard. The threat he presents also stands to buoy the production by Mark Andrews and the Ravens’ WRs regardless of how that target share is distributed.
