With the year’s second major here, there’s one certainty: Picking a golfer to win from the PGA Championship's 156-player field is going to be a challenge.
After all, the field will be comprised of the world’s best taking aim at one of the four top events of the year.
Everyone’s going to, hopefully, bring their ‘A’ game to Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, KY.
But, it’s a major and a lot of bettors certainly want to have a little skin in the game.
With that being said, let’s step away from who wins outright and look at a few prop bets to add a little flavor to one of the year’s top tournaments.
You can find PGA Championship prop odds at all top-rated US sportsbooks, but we’re going to use the props from DraftKings for our picks.
PGA Championship three-way win prop
While picking a winner in a golf tournament is a daunting challenge, it’s a little easier if your bet has three options.
We’re going to look at the trio of John Rahm, Xander Schauffele and Collin Morikawa to win at +600.
Two of the three, Rahm and Morikawa, already have majors on their resume and Schauffele is as close as he has been to finally winning that first major.
That gives us a nice threesome to watch over the four days.

Padraig Harrington PGA Championship prop odds
We’re going out on that limb again … far, far out there … and looking at Padraig Harrington to finish in the top 40 at +700.
He’s won six times on the PGA Tour, three of those majors including the 2005 PGA Championship, so he’s no stranger to the spotlight.
He’s now toiling on the PGA Tour Champions circuit where he is coming off a T-8 at the Regions Championship, also a major.
We’re not asking for miracles here and for him to win, we’d just like to see four solid rounds which Harrington does more often than not.
PGA Championship top 5 finish prop odds parlay
How about checking out Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele both finishing in the top five at +1200.
In case you missed it, they finished 1-2 last week at the Wells Fargo, a PGA Tour signature event, so both are coming in playing at a high level.
In fact, both have solid seasons going.
If not for the fact Scheffler is running away with the FedEx Cup race so far, both Schauffele (second) and McIlroy (fourth) would be the talk of the PGA Tour for the Player of the Year.
A win here, or a top-five by both of them, keeps them in the discussion, depending on where Scheffler finishes.
PGA Championship props: Winner’s score on 72nd hole
We’re going to bet the winner birdies the final hole at -120.
We hate taking minus money, but the 18th hole at Valhalla is a par-5 that is certainly reachable in two by much of the field.
When he won here in 2014, McIlroy had a par, an eagle and two birdies on this hole. For the record, his par came on the 72nd hole so that wouldn’t have been great for us.
For those looking to up the odds, an eagle on the final hole by the champion comes in at an impressive +1600.
