Since losing to Floyd Mayweather in 2013, Canelo Alvarez has gone 15-1-1. The draw came against Gennadiy Golovkin in 2017, the first of two times they competed against one another. With one win over Golovkin in their second fight, Canelo will look to go 2-0-1 against the middleweight king in the trilogy.

There's a lot at stake for the PPV King as Canelo's status as undisputed super-middleweight champion is on the line on September 17 when he faces his bitter rival GGG. The fight will be held inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

It is believed he will earn a guaranteed purse of $45 million, per Boxing Scene. As champion, Canelo will earn more money via the PPV bonus.

Golovkin will be making $20 million, per Boxing Scene. Including the PPV bonus, Golovkin could end up taking home over $45 million.
