The Asia Cup 2023 Super Four clash between India and Pakistan got suspended on Sunday due to torrential downpours in Colombo.

Winning the toss, Pakistan sent India to bat first. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill gave India a dream start as the duo stitched a partnership of 121 runs for the opening wicket.

Unfortunately, neither Sharma nor Gill could convert their starts to big runs as both got dismissed in quick succession thereafter.

Virat Kohli and KL Rahul were on the crease with the scoreboard showing India 147/2 in 24.1 overs when play got halted due to rain.

The game after that never resumed due to continuous rain and at 8:50 pm IST, the decision was taken to suspend the day's play.

When is the India vs Pakistan match reserve day?

As the game could not be completed on Sunday due to rains, it will be resumed on Reserve Day which is Monday, September 11.
