It may be almost a month away from starting, but anticipation is already sky-high ahead of the 2024 British Formula One Grand Prix at Silverstone.

One of the staples on the F1 calendar and held annually since all the way back in 1926, the 70th British Grand Prix will see three-time back-to-back world champion Max Verstappen attempt to make it two victories on the spin, both at Silverstone itself and in the 2024 Championship race following a close-run finish in Canada last time out.

Optimism is high on home soil at Silverstone too, particularly after Verstappen was pushed right to the edge in Montreal with three Brits in tow: Lando Norris, George Russell and Lewis Hamilton finished second, third and fourth respectively, all within just five seconds of the Dutchman's time.

To add to the hype, Russell qualified on pole ahead of raceday and Hamilton recorded the fastest lap of the race on his 70th and final attempt, and that pulsating ending to the race — combined with podium finishes for Norris and Verstappen at Silverstone last year, has set the pulses in motion for Sunday, July 7.

Can Norris, Russell or Hamilton go one better to win at Silverstone in the 2024 British Grand Prix? Here's everything to know about the best seats, best views and best tickets for the race.

With two-day passes already sold out and four-day tickets — which include Thursday's launch party with US rock band Kings of Leon — extremely limited already, your best bet for buying a weekend pass on Stubhub is to choose the three-day option from Friday to Sunday.

The cheapest of these tickets, giving you general admission for all three free practice sessions, qualifying, and the race itself start at £361 /  $460, while access to the Fusion Lounge — a raised area within the boundaries of the track itself at Silverstone, will set you back an eye-watering £5,646 / $7,193.

How much are tickets for qualifying at the 2024 F1 British Grand Prix?

  • Tickets: StubHub
  • Cheapest: £167 / $213

Saturday, July 6 at Silverstone will see the third and final free practice take place a few hours before P1, P2 and P3 of the qualifying sessions to decide the order of the starting grid on raceday, and general admission tickets on Stubhub, seated around various elongated sections of the track, start at £167 / $213.

The most expensive tickets for qualifying are placed just before the finish line, on the aptly named Hamilton Straight. Fans can buy tickets in this section for up to £542 / $691, and the track's namesake Lewis Hamilton will be hoping to book himself a place in the upper echelons of the grid.

How much are tickets for race day at the 2024 F1 British Grand Prix?

A raceday ticket is the one everybody wants to get their hands on, and with StubHub you can do just that, with tickets in the various general admission seats starting from £313 / $422 on Sunday at Silverstone.

Just like with the three-day weekend passes, there's a number of much more expensive tickets on sale too, including the aforementioned fusion lounge overlooking the penultimate corner of the track before the Hamilton straight.
