The FedEx Cup playoffs are back. The mid-season excitement kicks off with the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis.
This year is just the third time the tournament will be played in Tennessee, having moved around the Northeast under a different name for many years. It's a much needed return for the city after the final St. Jude Classic in 2018. And it's one of the biggest events of the year (even if it's played just weeks after the Olympics) as the first of three FedEx Cup playoff tournaments.
The PGA's 70 best players, decided by points tallied throughout the season, will be at TPC Southwind from August 15-18. Fifty advance to the BMW Championship in Castle Rock, and then it's whittled down to 30 golfers for TOUR Championship in Atlanta. Winner of the final event is crowed FedEx Cup victor.

There are eight types of tickets fans can purchase for the event, each granting different levels of benefits and access to the course and tournament. It includes Grounds Pass, Michelob Ultra Athletic Club, Freight 59, Villas, Cypress Lounge, Shared Marquee Suite, Rhythm & Blues Club and St. Jude Pavilion.
Those looking for the cheapest option can find that under Grounds Pass. Whether you want to watch Round 1 or the final day of the championship, it will cost about $55 for a ticket to the FedEx St. Jude Championship.

FedEx St. Jude Championship dates
The FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis kicks off Wednesday, Aug. 14 with the pro-am round. However, the tournament officially begins Thursday. The final round will be played Sunday, Aug. 14.
