The Atlanta Braves have been severely bitten by the injury bug this season but there still should be some reasons for hope.

Atlanta is loaded with so much talent that it still is one of just a handful of National League teams with a winning record. The Braves are one of the most talented teams in baseball and while they have dealt with a few high-impact injuries, could look to add this summer to fill in the gaps.

The outfield clearly is a spot that needs some help with Ronald Acuña Jr. out and one player who was floated as a possible replacement option is All-Star Michael Conforto by The Athletic's Jim Bowden.

"Position targets: fourth outfielder, possibly a starting pitcher," Bowden said. "OF: Tommy Pham, Eddie Rosario, Gavin Sheets, Jake McCarthy, Ian Happ, Heston Kjerstad, Jesús Sánchez, Jake Fraley, Michael Conforto, Randy Arozarena, Wenceel Pérez, (and) Mike Yastrzemski...

"Yes, the Braves lost the reigning (National League Most Valuable Player), Ronald Acuña Jr., and the preseason favorite for the NL Cy Young Award, Spencer Strider, to season-ending injuries. But that's not going to stop them from making the playoffs as a Wild Card team, though they need to improve their corner outfield depth and maybe add a back-of-the-rotation starter depending on how their young starters pitch over the next seven weeks."

Conforto has launched eight home runs so far this season to go along with 22 RBIs. It sounds like he could end up being moved this summer and if that ends up being the case, the Braves should get involved.
