LeBron James and his son, Bronny, are officially sharing the basketball spotlight.

The two appear side-by-side on a 1-of-1 autographed card as part of a new deal with Fanatics. The card — which depicts LeBron in his high school jersey from St. Vincent-St. Mary's and Bronny in his USC Trojans jersey — is part of the Bowman U Chrome basketball set released for 2023-24.

The 100-card set also includes cards featuring women's basketball stars Caitlin Clarke, Angel Reese and Paige Bueckers.

Card collectors have long coveted special edition LeBron cards, several of which have fetched a pretty penny at auctions. Most famously, an autographed rookie patch card from the 2003-04 Upper Deck Exquisite set sold for a record $5.2 million, the most ever for a basketball card according to PWCC Marketplace. Additionally, a James "Triple Logoman" card from the 2020-21 Panini basketball card set sold at auction for $2.4 million in June 2022.

While there's obviously no guarantee in landing the soon-to-be iconic LeBron-Bronny dual autographed card, your only bet is via one of the factory-sealed packs and boxes. Fanatics — which did a special drop on January 19 with boxes guaranteeing at least two autographed cards — is now selling value boxes for $24.99 with a special code for free shipping.

Each box contains seven packs with four cards in each pack along with four Pink Refractor Parallels.

The one-of-a-kind LeBron and Bronny collaboration spearheads a new deal between James and Fanatics, which James announced on Instagram in the week leading up to the original January 19 release. James recently ended a 20-year partnership with Upper Deck and further establishes the arrival of Fanatics as a major player in the basketball trading card space.

Earlier in 2023, The Athletic reported that Fanatics reached an agreement with the NBA to become the exclusive provider of officially licensed cards. The deal takes effect in 2026 when the deal with current rights holder Panini ends in 2026.  Panini has been the exclusive licensee for NBA trading cards since 2009.
