Welcome back, college football.
After seven long months, the zany, lovable sport returns to anchor our Saturdays, beginning with a four-game slate in "Week 0." It's just an appetizer before the full cavalcade of games awaiting in Week 1, but certainly an appealing one.
No. 10 Florida State and Georgia Tech open up the season with an ACC clash in Dublin, Ireland. Quarterback DJ Uiagalelei — formerly of Clemson and Oregon State — leads the Seminoles into the season with legitimate College Football Playoff aspirations after a controversial omission last year. But the Yellow Jackets are no pushover, coming off a solid seven-win campaign.

Though the opening game is undeniably the headliner, the other three matchups carry plenty of intrigue, too. Two FCS teams — Montana State and Delaware State — will look to best their respective FBS counterparts in New Mexico and Hawaii. In between, SMU, beginning its first season as a member of the ACC, takes on Nevada.
