During the 2024 NFL Draft, there were a total of 84 schools that were represented for all the players that were selected. It depends each year on the number, but there is a consistent list of teams that send and have the most players in the NFL; Ohio State is third and Louisiana State is fourth.

Now, of course all of these players consist of all position types, but one such position from these schools produces bigger names than the rest: Wide receivers. The league asked fans who they felt produced the best talent from this position, and people could not make up their minds.

Starting with LSU, they have produced two of the main stars of the league in Ja'Marr Chase of the Bengals and Justin Jefferson of the Vikings. The two receivers both have around 30 total touchdowns and over 3,700 yards. While Jefferson has much more receptions and yards than Chase, Chase has played 15 less games due to injury.

Pair them alongside the likes of Odell Beckham Jr., Malik Nabers, Brian Thomas Jr., and DJ Chark, and the Tigers have a notable list of Pro Bowl players.

However, the Ohio State Buckeyes may have them beat.

Just to list some names of young OSU products, they have sent Garrett Wilson to the Jets, Chis Olave to the Saints, Jaxon Smith-Njigba to the Seahawks, and Terry McLaurin to the Commanders. All of which are arguably the number-one options on their respective teams.

Not to mention Marvin Harrison Jr., who is being touted as 'the most pro-ready player' in the 2024 class, and Chris Carter, who is arguably one of the best receivers of all time, accumulating nearly 14,000 yards and 130 touchdowns.

While both teams have their fair share of spectacular players who put up incredible numbers, the Ohio State Buckeyes may have the edge on LSU when it comes to quantity and quality.
