The Notre Dame football program will look to take a huge step forward in 2024 and become a legitimate national title contender.

The Fighting Irish are once again led by head coach Marcus Freeman, who has compiled a 19-7 record in his first two full seasons at Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish finished 10-3 last year, capping off the campaign with a 40-8 victory over Oregon State in the Sun Bowl.

Notre Dame will hand the reins to a new transfer quarterback after the departure of Sam Hartman. This time around, Riley Leonard, who played at Duke for three seasons, will be running the offensive unit.
