Will Johnson is regarded by some as the best cornerback in the country entering this season. He's a complete ball-hawking corner, totaling seven interceptions over the past two seasons. Many believe this prestige could make him one of the top picks in next year's NFL Draft.

In a recent ESPN mock draft, Field Yates had Johnson going No.6 to the New England Patriots. Funny enough, Johnson's teammate and defensive lineman Mason Graham is projected to go No. 7 to the Minnesota Vikings overall.

Johnson will have more responsibility with former Michigan defensive back Mike Sanristill off to the NFL. Luckily, the Wolverines return free safety Makari Paige, who ranked in the top 5 on the team in solo tackles and pass deflections.

The junior could bring a lot to New England's defense. His ability to track the ball in man coverage could pair really well with the Patriots' other cornerback Christian Gonzolez, who was complimented by many around the NFL as a true "shutdown" back.

Johnson would join the list of multiple Wolverines who have donned the Patriot uniform, including Josh Uche, Chase Winovich, and, oh yeah…Tom Brady.
