VIDEO: Deshaun Watson says 'I have to continue to push forward with my life and career' at press conference after settlement with NFL

The Deshaun Watson suspension saga is over.

On Thursday, the NFL has reached a settlement for an 11-game suspension with an $5 million fine for Watson after he faced more than 20 accusations of sexual assault.

Shortly after news came down, Watson stood in front of reporters, maintaining his innocence despite accepting a harsher punishment from the NFL.

“I’ve always been able to stand on my innocence and always said I never assaulted or disrespected anyone but at the same point I have to continue to push forward with my life and career.”

Watson also indicated that just because settlements happen doesn't imply an admission of guilt.
