The Eagles and Patriots kick off the second week of preseason action with a Thursday night tilt in Foxboro. It is a rematch of the 2017 Super Bowl, in which the Eagles took home their first Lombardi Trophy in franchise history and their first title since 1960.

Meanwhile, the Patriots continue to adjust to life without Bill Belichick and are giving Drake Maye, the franchise’s potential future, reps, even if it’s just one series. Last week, New England prevailed over Carolina, 17-3, and Bailey Zappe threw for 108 yards, completing 12 out of 20 passes.

The Eagles squeaked by the Ravens in a 16-13 affair, which led to a field goal in the final seconds from Jake Elliott to earn the win.
