The Tennessee Titans have been wheeling and dealing over the past few days, and their most recent moved involved trading defensive back Elijah Molden to the Los Angeles Chargers.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Titans are sending Molden to Los Angeles, but the ex compensation has yet to be revealed, although Rapoport notes it will involve a late-round draft pick.

A third-round pick of the Titans in 2021, Molden appeared in 33 games (16 starts) for the Titans over three seasons, with his sophomore campaign cut short due to injury.

Tennessee originally drafted him to be a slot cornerback, but the team decided to move Molden to safety last season after the emergence of Roger McCreary. He was set to start alongside Amani Hooker before the Titans added Quandre Diggs and Jamal Adams, leaving Molden as Tennessee's No. 4 safety.

In 2023, Molden surrendered a completion rate of 72.7% and a passer rating of 122.3 in coverage. He also added one interception, three forced incompletions and 10 run stops, per Pro Football Focus.

Molden joins a few former Titans who are also with the Chargers, a group that includes edge rusher Bud Dupree, cornerback Kristian Fulton and defensive lineman Teair Tart.

With Molden gone, the Titans now have one player remaining from their 2021 draft class: right guard Dillon Radunz.

Here's a look at how Twitter reacted to the trade.
