When a player is on the roster bubble like Tennessee Titans tight end Thomas Odukoya is, they have to find ways to stand out in order to make the roster. Well, Odukoya did just that in the preseason Week 3 game against the New Orleans Saints.

In the closing seconds of the first half, the Titans called on rookie kicker Brayden Narveson to attempt a 58-yard field goal. But the kick was short of the uprights, which allowed the Saints to return it the other way.

Saints wide receiver Samson Nacua ended up with the football and had one heck of a return and looked primed to take the football 100-plus yards for a score to close out the half. However, Thomas Odukoya was having none of that and ran the length of the field to stop him, saving the touchdown.

That is the very definition of a hustle play. Making it more impressive, Odukoya had to carry his massive 6-foot-6, 253-pound frame with him.

Odukoya has made some strides during the offseason but figures to be on the outside looking in for a roster spot. We'll find out for sure as the Titans cut their roster down to 53 by Tuesday, Aug. 27.
