With just days to go before the Tennessee Titans open their regular season versus the Chicago Bears on Sunday, the team brought in several players for workouts, including two quarterbacks.

According to the league's transactions wire, the Titans worked out quarterbacks Ian Book and Chris Oladokun, and defensive backs Kendell Brooks, Quindell Johnson and Kendall Williamson. Ultimately, Brooks was signed to the practice squad.

The Titans currently don't have a third quarterback on either their 53-man roster or practice squad after trading Malik Willis to the Green Bay Packers.

As a result, head coach Brian Callahan revealed that wide receiver Tyler Boyd is the team's emergency quarterback heading into Week 1. But Callahan also made it clear he'd like to bring in a young signal-caller on the practice squad.

“I would enjoy having another young quarterback in there to develop and work with,” he said, per AtoZ Sports Nashville.

A former fourth-round pick of the New Orleans Saints in 2021, Book has played in just one game, which came in his rookie campaign. He completed 12-of-20 passes for 135 yards and two interceptions in that contest.

Book has also spent some time with the Philadelphia Eagles, New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs. During the 2024 preseason with the Chiefs, Book completed 16-of-22 passes for 133 and two touchdowns to no interceptions.

Oladokun was a seventh-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2022 but has never seen action in a regular season game. He has spent each of the last two preseasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, and in 2024 completed 22-of-33 passes for 250 yards and one touchdown to two picks.

It wouldn't hurt the Titans to give either one a look on the practice squad. We'll see if Tennessee ends up bringing in one of them, or someone else, at some point in the days or weeks ahead.
