The Baltimore Ravens (10-3) will travel south for a matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars (8-5) that could be a prequel to a future 2023 playoff showdown if both teams’ trajectories stay true for the last month of the regular season.
Trevor Lawrence’s seemingly catastrophic ankle injury in Week 13 proved not to be, although Lawrence didn’t play his best during the Jaguars 31-27 loss in Cleveland just six days later.
Lamar Jackson and the Ravens are riding high after their wild 37-31 OT win at home over the Rams which was punctuated by Tylan Wallace’s 76-yard “run off” punt return touchdown to end it.
The game kicks off at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC. Let’s focus on the best player prop picks and odds for Ravens vs. Jaguars.

Keaton Mitchell OVER rushing yards
Running back transitions between “up and coming young guy” to lead back take place at different paces, but that is definitely what seems to be going on in Baltimore this season. In light of J.K. Dobbins’ season-ending ACL injury, the Ravens went with Gus Edwards and Justice Hill behind him.
That pecking order has changed substantially with the plodding Gus Bus only notching six carries for 15 yards last week. That 2.5 YPC clip isn’t cutting the mustard, especially with the explosive and exciting rookie Mitchell tallying a 6.0 YPC average with nine carries for 54 last week.
While the Gus Bus could take some goal-line opportunities out of Mitchell’s hands, it looks like Mitchell is going to get the bulk of the work this week and going forward.

Isaiah Likely OVER receptions
Ravens fans surely hoped that second-year player Isaiah Likely would step in as the starting TE when Mark Andrews was lost for the season to a broken leg in Week 11 and start putting up Andrews-esque stat lines.
While that hasn’t taken place instantly, Likely did erupt for a 54-yard touchdown catch which made up for the majority of his impressive 5/83/1 performance last Sunday. It is likely that Likely will eclipse his catches total this week vs. Jacksonville, and it is unlikely that I’ll write a cheesier pun the rest of this season.

Travis Etienne OVER rushing yards
Jaguars third-year running back Travis Etienne ranks third in the NFL with 219 carries this year, but it’s been a bit confounding to see him averaging 3.7 YPC to this point. Last year Etienne racked up 220 yards all season but did so averaging a more impressive 5.1 YPC.
Nagging rib and ankle injuries play into the -1.4 YPC dip between 2022 and 2023, but despite that trend we are still very likely to see Etienne get enough carries to hit the over on his rushing yards prop.
In light of WR Christian Kirk’s core muscle injury that required surgery and Trevor Lawrence throwing three TDs but also three INTs last week in Cleveland, we are likely to see Jags coach Doug Pederson craft a game plan more centered upon slowing things down by giving Etienne a lot of carries (and to cut into the amount of time the Jaguars D will have to be on the field trying to bottle up Lamar Jackson and his slew of weapons).
