Paige VanZant is coming to Power Slap.

Dana White's slap-fighting promotion announced that the former UFC star will be making her Power Slap debut on Friday, June 28, at Power Slap 8.

Power Slap 8 is headlined by two title matches: heavyweight champion Da Crazy Hawaiian (14-1, 12 KOs) vs. Danie “The Pitbull” Van Heerden (2-1, 2 KOs) and welterweight champion Emanuel “No Love” Muniz (5-2, 2 KOs) vs. Anthony “Babyface” Blackburn (3-0-1).

And now, we know there will be added attention with VanZant making her Power Slap debut.

VanZant (8-5 MMA) signed with the UFC in November 2014 and fought inside the Octagon until July 2020. She then competed for bare-knuckle boxing promotion Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) and has also performed in professional wrestling.

Most recently, VanZant made her professional boxing debut against Misfit Boxing women's middleweight champion Elle Brooke at MF & DAZN: X Series 15 on May 25, 2024.

VanZant was knocked down, but the fight ended in a split draw (48-46, 46-48, 47-47).

Brooke and VanZant are expected to rematch later this year, but first, she will be stepping onto the stage at Power Slap 8.

Power Slap 8 will take place on Friday, June 28, at 9:00 p.m. ET. The event will stream live and free on Rumble.
