Bellator Champions Series Dublin results: Kuramagomedov claims welterweight gold

Bellator Champions Series returned this weekend for Bellator Champions Series 3 at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland. The event, also known as Bellator Champions Series: Dublin, was headlined by a welterweight championship fight. 

When it was all said and done, Ramazan Kuramagomedov (13-0) was able to grind out a unanimous decision victory over Jason Jackson (18-5) to achieve his lifelong dream and take home the 170-pound title. 

In the co-main event, local favorite Paul Hughes (12-1) made his Bellator Champions Series debut and scored an impressive second-round TKO stoppage of Bobby King (12-7).

Other big wins throughout the event, which streamed live on Max, include Arlene Blencowe, who submitted Sinead Kavanagh in the second round; Dalton Rosta, who energized the crowd with a hard-fought majority decision win over Norbert Novenyi; and Darragh Kelly, who stayed undefeated with a first-round guillotine of Mathias Poiron.
