ESPN projects three Arizona players taken in first round of 2025 NBA Mock Draft

The Arizona Wildcats could be a national championship contender in their first season in the Big 12 Conference.

ESPN’s Jonathon Givony and Jeremy Woo placed three Arizona players in the first round of its 2025 NBA Mock Draft on June 28; freshman power forward Carter Bryant at No. 14 to the Memphis Grizzlies, 7-foot-2 sophomore center Motiejus Krivas at No. 19 to the Los Angeles Clippers and sophomore shooting guard KJ Lewis at No. 27 to the Brooklyn Nets. 

Bryan, 6-foot-8,t was a McDonald’s All-American at Centennial High in Corona, California, in 2024. Lewis, 6-foot-4, was an All-Pac-12 Freshman team pick in 2024 after he came off the bench in all 36 games for Arizona nd averaged 6.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.1 steals. 

Arizona hasn’t had a player selected in the NBA Draft the last two years, when they had Benedict Mathurin and Dalen Terry selected in the first round and Christian Koloko selected in the second round.
