Mark Zuckerberg has become an unlikely MMA superfan, but his passion for jiu-jitsu led to rubbing shoulders with some of the biggest stars in mixed martial arts. Now, the Meta CEO frequents UFC events and has even cornered fighters.

Late last year, Zuckerberg suffered a torn ACL while sparring and subsequently had surgery to repair his injured knee.

Zuck is now nine months removed from the surgery and shared a video on Instagram documenting his progress and recovery.

The video led to reactions from several UFC stars.

UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones commented, "I'm digging the recovery journey. I should make a video like this."

Former featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovsky, who has trained with Zuckerberg in the past, simply wrote, "He's back!"

Media personality Nina Drama, whose real name is Nina Marie Daniele, joked, "Tell your investors you are ready to get back on the mats! LFG Zuck!"

Zuckerberg clearly has the support of the mixed martial arts world who can't wait to see him back to full strength and back on the mats.

The question is: will those mats eventually lead to the long-rumored and highly-discussed fight with fellow billionaire Elon Musk? That's the update we all really want to see.
