Randy Orton isn’t just staying put in the WWE, but he’s sticking around for a long, long time to come. It’s fantastic news for the promotion and fans within the WWE Universe alike, considering exactly how insanely over The Viper remains to this day, and Paul “Triple H” Levesque clearly understands this as well.

That’s why Levesque and WWE have reportedly signed a long-term deal to remain, per Seth Ross Sapp of Fightful, ensuring the Legend Killer isn’t lost to a competitor.

The news comes only days after Orton was awarded a title match against Gunther at the upcoming “Bash in Berlin” premium live event for a shot at taking the WWE Heavyweight Championship away from him.

That won’t be an easy task, but if anyone can do it, it’s Orton.

If he can do so, it’ll mark his 15th title reign, placing him behind only Ric Flair and John Cena for most all-time — the latter two tied at 16 titles a piece.

SETH ROLLINS OUT INDEFINITELY DUE TO INJURY

It’s been a while since Orton has competed for gold in the WWE, his return from injury being mostly filled with battles against the Bloodline alongside Kevin Owens and WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes.

At the end of August, however, Orton will be solo once again and looking to sink his fangs into Gunther.
