Twenty youth baseball teams have gathered in Williamsport, Pa., this year in pursuit of a Little League World Series title.
The 77th edition of the annual baseball tournament will feature 10 teams in the United States bracket and 10 teams in the international bracket. A new champion will be crowned, as the squad from El Segundo, Calif., is not participating in the 2024 Little League World Series.

The U.S. has dominated the Little League World Series in recent years, winning the last five championships. It is also the all-time leader with 39 titles, well ahead of Taiwan (17) and Japan (11).
