It's hard to find a brighter star in the UFC than Alex Pereira.
In the absence of Jon Jones and Conor McGregor, it is Pereira who has emerged as one of the biggest names in mixed martial arts thanks to his willingness to remain active and consistent highlight-reel finishes.
Pereira (11-2) won the UFC middleweight championship with a knockout win over Israel Adesanya in November 2022. Five months later, Adesanya reclaimed the title and Pereira moved to light heavyweight.
The Brazilian knockout artist wasted no time making his impact felt at 205 pounds.

Pereira earned a split decision nod over Jan Blachowicz in his light heavyweight debut before taking on Jan Blachowicz for the vacant title in New York City.
Pereira was able to deliver one of his incredible knockout performances to claim the belt and he has not looked back since.
And now, thanks to a custom bracelet highlighting his achievements, Pereira can take his championship belt with him wherever he goes.

Amazing.
Few people in the world earned the right to wear that bracelet, but no one can deny Pereira.
Pereira will return to action on Saturday, October 5, at UFC 307 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He will be defending his light heavyweight title against Khalil Rountree (14-5, 1 NC) in the main event at the Delta Center.
